Sunderland striker Steven Fletcher has join French Ligue 1 side Marseille on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 28-year-old Scotland international flew to France to complete the move on Deadline Day.
Fletcher has struggled to hold down a first-team place under Black Cats manager Sam Allardyce, making just 11 Premier League starts this term.
He has scored four goals for Sunderland and four for Scotland since the season began, but the Wearside club were prepared to let him move on and he could make his debut in Tuesday's Ligue 1 game at Montpellier.
Allardyce last week completed the signing of forward Wahbi Khazri from Bordeaux on a four-and-a-half year contract, after missing out on Swansea's Andre Ayew.
Fletcher signed for Sunderland from Wolves for £12m in August 2012 and he has scored 23 goals in all competitions since for the club.
