Baggies boss set to make a decision regarding his future
Roy Hodgson says there is a chance he could soon sit down and thrash out a new deal with West Brom, with the club prepared to talk terms.
Hodgson arrived at The Hawthorns in February, shortly after seeing an ill-fated stint in the Liverpool hot-seat come to an end.
He signed a contract that is due to run until the end of the 2011/12 campaign.
With that agreement running out, the Baggies are keen to tie their coach down for the foreseeable future.
Decision
Hodgson claims he is close to deciding what to do next, and has hinted that he will soon sit down with club officials and discuss an extension.
"I'm sure there will come a time when I make a clear decision about what I want to do in the near future," he said.
"The club have been kind enough to let me know that, if I want to, they'll be more than happy to sit down with me.
"I'm quite happy where we are and let's see how things develop."
