The two experienced campaigners played a major part in Dave Jones's side gaining promotion from Division One through the play-offs last term.
With Ince 35, and Irwin at the grand old age of 37, both men doubted whether their ageing legs could stand the pace in The Premiership.
However, both men could not resist one last season in the top-flight, and have vowed to help keep Wolves in the Premier League next season.
The chance to play at Old Trafford one more time could well have been a factor for the former Manchester United pair, while Ince can play against his other former teams Liverpool and Middlesbrough.
The details of both their contracts will be revealed at a press conference called by Wolves for Friday morning.
