Eagles looking to swoop for Cherries boss
Sky Sports News
understands Crystal Palace have offered Eddie Howe the chance to become their next boss.
The highly-rated coach is currently in charge of Bournemouth, where he has enjoyed remarkable success.
He led the Cherries to promotion out of League Two last season and currently has them sat among the third tier frontrunners.
It comes as no surprise to find that his profile has risen considerably and interest in his services has increased.
He was strongly linked with the Southampton post earlier in the season, before the Saints appointed Nigel Adkins.
Palace are the latest side to try and tempt Howe away from Dean Court, with the Eagles looking for a successor to the ousted George Burley.
reported on Wednesday that the Championship outfit were keen on Howe
and it is believed they have now officially put a deal to the 33-year-old.
Whoever takes the reins at Selhurst Park will inherit a side struggling towards the wrong end of the table, with one win in six leaving the Eagles languishing inside the relegation zone.
