Nottingham Forest have signed left-back Jack Robinson on an initial two-year contract.

The 24-year-old will officially make the move to the City Ground from QPR on July 1, when his current deal expires.

Robinson becomes Forest's sixth new signing of a busy summer in the transfer target, less than 24 hours after Algeria international forward Hillal Soudani joined from Dinamo Zagreb.

Robinson has experience of playing in the Premier League, Europa League and in the Championship.

He came through the ranks at Liverpool and picked up further first-team experience on loan at Wolves and Blackpool, before joining QPR on a permanent deal in 2014.

Robinson played 34 times in all competitions for QPR last season but will now help Aitor Karanka's side in their promotion push.

"Hopefully we can take this team to the next level and the Premier League," Robinson said on the club's official Twitter feed.
