Chris Kamara gives his thoughts on Leciester's 2-1 win over Swansea at the King Power Stadium in Match In A Minute.
Jamie Vardy's first goal of the season set Premier League champions Leicester on their way to the first of the season, Vardy - the champions' leading scorer last season with 24 goals - getting off the mark for the new campaign by emphatically finishing a lovely Leicester move.
Captain Wes Morgan doubled the lead early in the second half before Riyad Mahrez saw his penalty saved by Lukasz Fabianski. Leroy Fer headed a goal back for Swansea late on, but it was the home side who looked more likely to add to their tally than the visitors were of rescuing a draw.
Aside from Mahrez's failure from the penalty spot, the other negative for Leicester was an injury to goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel, sustained after taking a goal-kick.
The victory meant the Foxes avoided becoming the first champions since Manchester United in 2007-08 to begin the defence of their title without winning any of their first three top-flight matches.
