David Meyler signs new Hull City contract

David Meyler has committed his future to Hull City after signing a new deal with the Sky Bet Championship club.

The Republic of Ireland international, who was out of contract in the summer, has signed terms to extend his stay by a further two years

Meyler arrived at the KC Stadium from Sunderland on loan in November 2012 and joined on a permanent basis two months later for an undisclosed fee.

The 26-year-old has made 126 appearances for Steve Bruce's side and is now one of the club's longest-serving players.

"I'm delighted to extend my stay here," he told Hull's website. "Now that everything is sorted, I'm looking forward to concentrating on making sure this club wins promotion back to the Premier League."
