Hull have shown a firm interest in signing Derby County midfielder Jeff Hendrick, according to Sky sources.

The 24-year-old has spent his entire professional career at Derby, scoring 22 goals in 196 appearances.

After his impressive displays at Euro 2016 for Republic of Ireland, Hendrick has caught the attention of Premier League clubs including Burnley who, according to Sky sources, made two bids for the midfielder in July.

Sky sources understand two players are having medicals at Hull on Monday, with one of those being Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall.
