The pitch invasion and fan trouble during Thursday night's clash between Millwall and Scunthorpe will be investigated, according to Sky sources.
Sky Sports News HQ has learned that the Football Association will review the incidents at the Den in the first leg of the Sky Bet League One play-off semi-final.
Spectators invaded the pitch and police and stewards had to take action to stop Millwall fans confronting travelling fans.
One spectator was filmed verbally abusing a Scunthorpe player as he walked off the field while some Millwall fans appeared to be fighting amongst themselves.
Scunthorpe are understood to be pleased with the calm conduct displayed by their players in the circumstances.
The hosts were held to a goalless draw by the dogged visitors with Neil Harris' side in charge for the entirety of the game, but struggled to create many clear-cut chances.
The tie remains finely poised heading into the second leg at Glanford Park on Sunday as the two sides continue their duel for a place in the final at Wembley on Saturday May 20.
