Slade targets more signings after arrival of Hatters duo
Brighton & Hove Albion manager Russell Slade aims to follow up a double deal for Gary Dicker and James Tunnicliffe by adding more players to his squad.
Dicker and Tunnicliffe have now finalised their moves to the Withdean Stadium from League One rivals Stockport to join Mark Wright as new arrivals on the South Coast.
Midfielder Dicker has signed a two-year contract and joins on a free transfer, while Tunnicliffe has agreed a three-year deal after costing an undisclosed fee.
Slade is delighted to add the duo to his squad for next season and confirmed he is close to bringing in further recruits.
"Today is the product of a lot of hard work that has gone into securing these two signings, and we're delighted to have captured the two boys," Slade told the club's official website
"We're speaking to another player tomorrow, and we're also speaking to other players out of contract and to agents alike.
"We would hope to do a little bit more business before we come back on Tuesday.
"We're trying to do the best we can and bring in some quality, some energy and improve the squad as much as much as we can.
"I think it will be very busy right up until the end of August, when the transfer window closes."
