Crystal Palace are interested in signing Swansea forward Jordan Ayew, according to Sky sources.

It is understood that, contrary to some reports, the 26-year-old Ghana international is not currently undergoing a medical at Selhurst Park.

Ayew ended last season as Swansea's top scorer with 11 goals, including seven in the Premier League, but was unable to prevent them from suffering relegation.

Sky Sports News reported in June that Swansea turned down an £8m bid from Fulham for Ayew, with the Cottagers not put off by their initial rejection.

The 26-year-old, who joined Swansea from Aston Villa in January 2017, has two years remaining on his contract at the Liberty Stadium.

Palace kick off their Premier League campaign on August 11 when they travel to Fulham.
