Bulls looking to pick off Cherries

Struggling Hereford face an unenviable task on Tuesday night when they play host to table-topping Bournemouth. The Bulls have won just one of their nine fixtures so far and sit only a point above the drop zone. In contrast, the Cherries have suffered just one defeat and have eight victories to their name already.

Hereford team news

Hereford will be without Ryan Green for the daunting clash. The Bulls' struggles from last season have continued into this and Saturday's 4-1 defeat at Rochdale has left the club fourth from bottom. Full-back Green received a second yellow card deep into injury time at Spotland and he will now serve a one-match ban. Jonny Godsmark and Glen Southam (both broken hand) will miss out, as will fellow midfielder Craig Jones (back). Striker Lee Morris is also a doubt with a groin problem. Recent arrivals James Walker, Edrissa Sonko and Mathieu Manset will all be hoping to make their home debuts. Manager John Trewick told the club's official website: "It's a home game and it doesn't matter whether it's against top of the table or bottom of the table, we've got to look to get a positive result. The players should look at that and see it as a challenge and hopefully they'll be up for it."
Bournemouth team news
Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe has been given special dispensation to make a loan signing ahead of the trip to Edgar Street. The Cherries have been unable to sign any players due to a transfer embargo, but the Football League have given them the green light to make one signing due to a lengthy injury list. The League Two leaders were only able to name three substitutes against Burton at the weekend and of those was 16-year-old Jayden Stockley after he was given permission to be in the squad by his school. Howe is working hard to add a new face ahead of the clash, with Mark Molesley (thigh) and Ryan Garry (illness) facing a race against time to be fit. Marvin Bentley (broken hand) is definitely out, while Shaun Cooper (hip), Jeff Goulding (ankle) and Jo Partington (groin) are also unavailable. Sammy Igoe (knee) has a 50-50 chance being fit and although Steve Fletcher would not normally play two games in such a short space of time, the striker is expected to feature.
