Bournemouth defender Steve Cook is close to agreeing a new deal at the club, Sky Sports understands.
Bournemouth opened talks with Cook over a new contract earlier this month to try and fend off interest from several Premier League and Championship clubs.
Talks are thought to be at an advanced stage between both parties and Cook is on the verge of signing a contract extension to keep him at Dean Court.
Cook has established himself as a key player for Bournemouth since arriving from Brighton & Hove Albion in January 2012 and he was rewarded with a new deal last summer.
The 23-year-old enjoyed an outstanding season for the Cherries in the Championship last season to spark interest from a number of clubs.
However, Bournemouth are set end speculation over Cook's future by securing the centre-back on a new deal and the news will be a massive boost for Eddie Howe's side.
