Chelsea U21s dispatched Plymouth 5-0 in the Checkatrade Trophy to move top of Southern Group C.
Charlie Brown opened the scoring in the 21st minute before a Yann Songo'o own goal doubled the visitors' advantage.
Martell Taylor-Crossdale, Tino Anjorin and Daishawn Redan all got on the scoresheet in the second half as the Blues youngsters dumped Plymouth out of the competition.
Two goals in three minutes from Jacob Maddox helped Cheltenham Town beat Arsenal U21s 6-2 at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium.
Chris Clements, Will Boyle, Kelsey Mooney and Ryan Broom all scored as Cheltenham moved up to second in Southern Group E.
Tyreece John-Jules and Charlie Gilmour scored consolations for the Gunners, who had Robbie Burton sent off in the seventh minute.
Meanwhile, Oldham came from two goals down to beat Everton U21s 3-2 at Boundary Park.

Finally, Tranmere Rovers were eliminated from the competition as they lost 1-0 to Manchester City U21s.
