Midfielder eager to give something back to the Bantams
Lee Bullock insists he was 'more than happy' to accept a pay cut in order to sign a new contract at Bradford City.
The midfielder has agreed a new 12-month deal at Valley Parade and has taken a drop in salary to secure his future.
Bullock, who joined the Bantams 18 months ago from Hartlepool United, believes he owed the club by agreeing to a reduction in his wages.
"There's been a lot reported about pay cuts, but in a way I need to give a bit back," he told the Telegraph & Argus.
"They looked after me and I'm more than happy to pay them back.
"It was never in doubt I was going to sign again, as soon as the manager offered me a new contract, I told him I wanted to stay."
