Midfielder targets promotion after signing new deal

Rotherham United midfielder Danny Harrison has signed a new one-year contract after admitting it was a 'no-brainer' to stay at the club. Harrison is approaching 100 appearances for the Millers since his arrival on a free transfer from Tranmere Rovers in the summer of 2007. And with his future now resolved, the 27-year-old is determined to help Mark Robins' side secure promotion to League One next season. "To stay was a no-brainer to be honest," Harrison told the club's official website. "We have made some good additions in the summer and the club is really on the up at the moment. "There is loads of ambition at the club and I see no reason why we shouldn't be in the play-offs or automatic places next year. "There are more competition for places this season which is what we all want. The squad is looking better and we are all confident that we can make it back to League One."
