Midfielder ends brief Quakers stay
Kevin McBride has signed an 18-month deal with Falkirk having failed to make an impact during a brief stint at Darlington.
The former Celtic and Motherwell midfielder only moved to the League Two outfit in the summer but made just seven appearances under Dave Penney.
Bairns boss John Hughes is delighted to have secured the services of McBride, having missed out on his services in the past.
He told the club's official website: "I tried to sign him during our first season in the SPL but he slipped through the net, so you could say I'm delighted to have finally got my man.
"He's a good age for us with his best years still ahead of him. He's got a great attitude and he's the kind of player who will fit in well here.
"He's a good passer of the ball and plays the game in the correct manner, exactly the kind of footballer I want at Falkirk."
