League Two outfit Plymouth Argyle have signed Blackpool striker Craig Sutherland on loan until the end of January.

The pacey 22-year-old joins Pool team-mate Paul Bignot at Home Park having made eight appearances under Ian Holloway this season, his first as a professional after penning terms over the summer. Sutherland arrived at Bloomfield Road from North Carolina State University after sending DVDs of himself starring in college football to a host of clubs in England and Scotland. Sutherland, who will wear the number 10 shirt, is available for the Pilgrims until after the league clash against Port Vale on January 28, but cannot play in the FA Cup first-round replay against Stourbridge. He is set to make his debut in Saturday's League Two encounter at Torquay.
