Tottenham U21s qualified for the knockout rounds of the Checkatrade Trophy despite a 3-2 defeat to Portsmouth in Southern Group A.
Phoenix Patterson put Spurs ahead, but Pompey replied with goals from Andre Green, Gareth Evans and Oli Hawkins before Harvey White grabbed a late consolation for Spurs, who finish second in the group.
Cambridge secured their progress from Group B with a 3-1 win over Colchester. Ade Azeez scored twice and Emmanuel Osadebe also netted for Cambridge.
Newport finished second in Group C after a 2-0 win over Plymouth, with Antoine Semenyo and Mark Harris scoring the goals.

Joey Barton's Fleetwood finished bottom of Group B after defeat to Bury, who qualified for the next phase after a 3-1 win, finishing second to Rochdale.
It was a tight affair in Group C, with a 3-2 win for Blackpool not enough to see them through, although their opponents Accrington did finish top of the group.
They were joined by Macclesfield Town, who were 2-1 winners against the West Brom U21s and featured 37-year-old Gareth Barry as he made a return from injury. The academy side finished bottom of Group C.
Shrewsbury Town took top spot of Group D - ahead of Man City U21s - with a 2-1 win against Crewe Alexandra, while Port Vale and Walsall also took their places in the knockout stages after the Valiants were also 2-1 winners in their Group E meeting.
It was the same scoreline for Barnsley as they beat Bradford City to take top spot in Group F. David Hopkin's side finished bottom of the table.
