Hibernian maintained their perfect start to the Scottish Championship season with a 4-0 demolition of Morton.

Neil Lennon's side made it four wins from four with a ruthless display of finishing, Andrew Shinnie sending them on the way to victory with a 29th-minute opener.

Grant Holt made it 2-0 four minutes before half-time with a superb header from a tight angle and another header from Jason Cummings nine minutes after the break ended the game as a contest.

Hibs beat Greenock Morton 4-0 at Easter Road in the Scottish Championship.

Morton failed to register an effort on target throughout the 90 minutes and conceded a fourth with 16 minutes remaining when Brian Graham headed a Cummings corner past Derek Gaston.

Raith Rovers started the day in top spot but dropped to second despite fighting back from 2-0 down to claim a 2-2 draw with Dundee United at Tannadice.

The Tangerines looked to be in cruise control after 23 minutes, Willo Flood putting them in front and Cameron Smith adding a second from the penalty spot after Flood was fouled.

But Rovers halved their deficit before half-time with Jordan Thompson getting on the scoresheet and they continued to press after the break.

Their persistence was rewarded with 18 minutes remaining when Declan McManus played in Kevin McHattie to level the scores.

Dundee United draw 2-2 with Raith Rovers in the Scottish Championship at Tannadice

McHattie, Mark Stewart and Rudi Skacel all had chances to win three points for Raith in the final 10 minutes but failed to convert.

Queen of the South are the other unbeaten team in the division after a 1-0 win at Dunfermline.

Derek Lyle scored the only goal of the game seconds before half-time and the Pars had to play the last 28 minutes with 10 men after Jason Talbot was shown a red card for violent conduct.

Falkirk claimed their first win of the season thanks to an 86th minute goal from Lee Miller in a 1-0 win over Dumbarton.

But Ayr United are still searching for an elusive win after a 1-1 draw with St Mirren at Somerset Park.

The Honest Men were denied victory by Tom Walsh's 89th minute equaliser after having taken a 14th-minute lead through Jamie Adams but did at least secure their first point of the season.
