Kilmarnock's Scottish Premiership game with Motherwell had to be abandoned because of heavy fog.

Mist descended upon Rugby Park towards the end of a goalless first half and worsened during the interval.

Boos rang out when the game restarted as supporters struggled to see and referee John Beaton stopped play just seconds into the second 45 minutes.

Fans were left waiting whilst Beaton finished his checks around the ground and consulted his assistants and both managers.
