Midfielder Ross Callachan has left Hearts and signed a two-year deal with St Johnstone.
Callachan becomes Tommy Wright's sixth summer signing in a deal that just beat Scotland's summer transfer deadline.
The 24-year-old, a product of the prolific Raith Rovers academy, made 23 Scottish Premiership appearances for Hearts last season, his first and last with the club.
But he had not featured at all this season and is looking forward to getting stuck in with his new club.
"I'm absolutely buzzing," Callachan said. "It's been a difficult few months for me at Hearts and I've not really featured.
"The manager has been interested in me for a while and it's great to finally be here.
"I feel like I had a decent season last year and now I'm ready to kick on and give my all for St Johnstone.
"It's a really strong squad and I can't wait to meet the boys. I'm really excited about the season ahead and what can be achieved both personally and as a club."
