Dundee United went top of the Championship with a 2-1 win over Queen of the South secured through Scott Fraser's second-half goal.
Scott McDonald put United in front at Tannadice when he converted Paul McMullan's cross from close range before Queen of the South drew level thanks to Callum Fordyce calm finish past Harry Lewis.
McMullan was dismissed before half-time for raising his hands at Shaun Rooney and Fraser won it after the interval.
Dunfermline recorded their first win of the Championship campaign in glorious style as they hammered Inverness Caledonian Thistle 5-1 at East End Park.
Callum Smith and Lee Ashcroft had Dunfermline 2-0 up after just 14 minutes.
Iain Vigurs pulled one back for Caley but Joe Cardle made it 3-1 and added the fifth in injury time, David Hopkirk scoring in between the two.
Michael Tidser scored twice from the penalty spot as Greenock Morton clinched an early-season Renfrewshire derby win over St Mirren.
St Mirren defender Jack Baird conceded both penalties and was shown a red card after fouling Bob McHugh for the second on 50 minutes.
Cammy Smith's superb 25-yarder had brought St Mirren level but Morton took advantage of the extra man with McHugh and Andy Murdoch increasing the margin of victory with low finishes.
Falkirk picked up their first point of the season thanks to Myles Hippolyte's penalty in a 1-1 draw with Dumbarton.
Alistair Roy converted David Wilson's pass to put Dumbarton ahead after 13 minutes but Nathan Austin was fouled in the box by Mark Stewart and Hippolyte scored from the spot.
Livingston were denied a first league win of the season when Brechin City came back from 2-0 down to claim a point at Glebe Park.
Dylan Mackin and Scott Pitman had Livingston in full control at the break.
But Kalvin Orsi dribbled past defender Alan Lithgow and finished to halve the deficit and Finn Graham fired home to level just after the hour.
