Marseille kept their hopes of qualifying for next season's Champions League alive with a 3-1 win at struggling Guingamp.

The visitors' second straight win kept them five points behind Lyon who currently occupy third place - the final Champions League qualification spot - in the Ligue 1 table.

Luiz Gustavo put Marseille in front after four minutes and Lucas Ocampo doubled his side's advantage five minutes before half-time.

Yeni N'Gbakoto brought Guingamp back into the game in the 56th minute but Valere Germain completed victory for Marseille with an injury time strike.

To make matters worse for the hosts they later slipped to the bottom of the table after Caen claimed a shock 1-0 win at Nice.

A 74th-minute strike from Alexander Djiku proved enough to give the visitors only their second Ligue 1 win in 15 games and kept alive their hopes of beating the drop.

Montpellier boosted their hopes of muscling in on European qualification with a 3-1 win at Strasbourg.
