Marseille and Monaco could not be separated as they fought out a competitive 2-2 draw in Ligue 1.
Forward Keita Balde raced through to slot the visitors into a fourth-minute lead at Stade Velodrome after Dimitri Payet had conceded possession, but defender Adil Rami quickly headed Marseille level.
The third-placed hosts, a point and a place above their opponents, made a blistering start to the second half and went ahead in the 47th minute when Valere Germain headed in against his former club from Payet's free-kick.
