Paris Saint-Germain have appealed UEFA's decision to re-open their investigation into the club's adherence to Financial Fair Play rules.

The Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has registered the French club's appeal against the decision by European football's governing body in September 2018.

UEFA backtracked from their initial decision to clear PSG of any wrongdoing with regard to FFP and said they would review the case in July - a month after declaring them innocent.

The investigation into the Qatari-owned club's spending was initially opened in September 2017, under pressure from some of Europe's biggest clubs, after the French club signed Brazilian forward Neymar for a world-record £200million.

Within weeks the club had also agreed a deal to sign teenage striker Kylian Mbappe from Monaco, on a season-long loan with the obligation to buy for £166m.
