Senegal striker wants to make a name for himself in Spain
Osasuna have seen off interest from Aston Villa to complete the signing of Atletico Madrid's Ibrahima Balde.
The 20-year-old was loaned out to Numancia last term where he benefitted from first-team football, but has now joined Osasuna on a three-year deal.
Balde's form saw him attract the attention of Villa but the talented striker has opted to continue his development in Spain.
"I am delighted to come to Osasuna," he told skysports.com
"I want to prove myself in the Spanish league and make a name for myself. To be honest, I loved the time I spent on-loan with Numancia.
"I think what I did there impressed other teams and now I have three years to make a name for myself - maybe one day I might play in the Premier League."
Meanwhile, Brazil international Miranda has expressed his delight at signing for Atletico Madrid from Sao Paulo.
The 26-year-old, who has earned six caps for his country, was also courted by Bayern Munich and Blackburn Rovers.
Miranda said: "I am very happy to be here and I want to return the faith Atletico have shown in me."
