Barcelona could hand a debut to striker Luis Suarez in El Clasico against Real Madrid on October 25.
The Uruguay star, 27, is serving a worldwide ban for biting Italy's Giorgio Chiellini at the World Cup in Brazil this summer but is eyeing a return against Barca's arch-rivals.
The Catalan giants, who are looking to regain the title they surrendered to Atletico Madrid last term, paid Liverpool a reported £75m for the controversial forward.
His suspension runs from June 25 to Friday October 24 and Primera Division officials have confirmed El Clasico will take place a day after its expiry, with kick-off at the Bernabeu scheduled for 5pm GMT.
