Rubin Kazan have confirmed the signing of former Arsenal and West Ham midfielder Alex Song.
The Cameroon international spent two seasons on loan at the Hammers after failing to establish himself in the Barcelona side but has joined the Russian club as a free agent.
An announcement on Rubin's official website did not give details of the 28-year-old's deal.
The defensive-midfielder, who has won 49 caps for his national team, joined Arsenal in 2006 and spent six years in London before moving to Barcelona.
The Spanish champions confirmed they and Song had reached an agreement to terminate his contact.
