Zinedine Zidane is now able to pursue his coaching career at top-level clubs after being granted his UEFA Pro Licence coaching badge on Friday.
The French legend was suspended for three months by the Spanish football federation last year for coaching without the correct qualification.
But he was reinstated and returned to work as coach of Real Madrid's reserve team.
"Very proud to have received my coaching diploma. Mission accomplished," the World Cup winner wrote on his Instagram account.
Zidane has been linked with the head coach's role at Madrid and is also a reported candidate for Marseille if Marcelo Bielsa departs.
