Belgian striker hopeful of move
Real Mallorca are waiting to hear from Fifa over whether they will approve their deadline day move for Belgium international Marvin Ogunjimi.
The Islanders agreed a deal with Genk and Ogunjimi on deadline day, but it emerged that the transfer documents were sent seven minutes too late.
However, Mallorca and the player are hopeful that the transfer will be approved by Fifa.
Ogunjimi insists that he is not even considering playing for Genk again, and is only thinking about playing for Mallorca.
"I am a player of Mallorca," he said after Belgium's win over USA on Tuesday.
"It is clear, and there is no doubt - the move will be completed, all the major papers were sent in time. I no longer play for Genk, but for Mallorca."
Genk chairman Herbert Houben had said that they expected Ogunjimi back for training this week, but he does not intend on doing that.
"I will not train with Genk," he said. "This week I will fly to Mallorca."
