Jorge Molina's penalty in the sixth minute of time added-on helped Getafe avoid defeat but they failed to regain fourth spot in La Liga following a 2-2 draw at struggling Real Valladolid.

Mauro Arambarri's strike for Getafe after 14 minutes was cancelled out on the half hour by Sergi Guardiola while Valladolid were given a boost when Mathias Olivera was sent off after the interval.

Enes Unal's 69th-minute penalty seemed set to give Valladolid all three points for a win that would have kept them out of the bottom three but Molina struck from the spot in the dying seconds.

It was a let-off for Getafe but Sevilla, following their 3-2 win over Real Betis on Saturday, are now in pole position to claim the final Champions League place.

Valencia bounced back from defeat at Rayo Vallecano last week with a 3-1 victory over Levante to stay in the hunt for a top-four place.

Santi Mina's second-minute strike put Los Che ahead before three goals in the space of seven second-half minutes settled the clash.

Carlos Soler's 56th-minute own goal levelled matters but Goncalo Guedes restored Valencia's lead immediately afterwards before Mina gave them a cushion.
