AC Milan have dismissed reports that Brazilian star Alexandre Pato has asked for a big-money move to Paris Saint Germain.

Reports suggest PSG are prepared to Brazilian €7m a year

AC Milan have dismissed reports that Brazilian star Alexandre Pato has asked for a big-money move to Paris Saint Germain. The forward on Tuesday admitted that his relationship with Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is not ideal and that has only increased speculation of a €50million (£42m) switch to France. PSG are financed by wealthy Qatari owners and former Milan boss Leonardo is the Ligue 1 club's director of sport. Leonardo's friendship with his compatriot, Pato, is thought to be one of the motivating factors behind the potential transfer. And suggestions that another ex-Milan manager, Carlo Ancelotti, could become PSG coach have only fuelled the rumours, along with talk of a move for Chelsea's Florent Malouda. PSG are reported to have prepared a €7m (£5.9m) a year contract for Pato, but Milan chief executive officer Adriano Galliani has rubbished talk of a deal. He is quoted as saying by Italian media: "Any type of signal in this sense has not come to me, neither from Pato nor from Leonardo to want to sign him. "As for myself, Pato remains absolutely with us."
