Bulgarian side Cherno More knocked out Israeli outfit Maccabi Netanya FC 3-1 on aggregate after a 2-0 success in the second leg. Young Boys powered past Debrecen 3-2 in their second leg encounter to progress 7-3 on aggregate. FC Moscow booked their place in Friday's draw with a 4-1 aggregate success over Legia Warsaw after a 2-0 win in the Russian capital. Latvian side SK Liepajas Metalurgs crashed out 5-1 on aggregate to FC Vaslui after going down 3-1 in the second leg in Romania. Lech Posnan coasted into the first round 6-0 on aggregate after a goalless draw in their second leg tie with Grasshoppers. Austria Vienna booked their place in the next round with a 2-0 win over Georgian side FC WIT Georgia after the tie was reaaranged as a one-off tie because of the political unrest in Georgia.
