Jadon Sancho says he is "happy" at Borussia Dortmund and is "not wasting thoughts" on a move away from the Bundesliga club.

The former Manchester City winger has impressed for Dortmund this season, registering five goals and eight assists along with becoming the first player born after 2000 to receive an England call-up.

Sancho has since been linked with Paris Saint-Germain - a report the French champions are understood to be surprised about - but the 18-year-old remains focused on Dortmund.

In an interview with German publication Bild, he said: "I'm not wasting any thoughts on a change, I owe a lot to BVB and I have a lot in mind with this team. I'm happy here and did not sign for so long for nothing."

Dortmund lead the Bundesliga table by four points after 10 games, but face their biggest test of the league season thus far against reigning champions Bayern Munich on Saturday.

"By giving everything and giving our fans full throttle, we know how strong the Bavarians are but we also know that can beat them if we have a good day, especially at home," he added.

"We have respect for them but also a lot of self-confidence and we all stick together."
