Defending Eredivisie champions PSV maintained their one point lead at the top of league with a comfortable 3-0 win away at Nijmegen on Sunday.
Luuk de Jong and Jurgen Locadia scored either side of the break to put the Boeren in charge before Marco van Ginkel, on loan from Chelsea, rounded off the scoring with 20 minutes to go.
The victory was PSV's seventh successive win away at Nijmegen, who missed the chance to leapfrog sixth-place Feyenoord.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men lost 3-1 away at Zwolle - their seventh straight defeat in all competitions.
The home side went in front through a Lars Veldwijk strike before Sven van Beek brought to two sides level five minutes before the break.
Feyenoord could have moved up to third with a victory but second half goals from Veldwijk and Kingsley Ehizibue made sure their miserable run of form continues.
Elsewhere, second-placed Ajax kept up the pressure on PSV at the top with a hard-fought 2-1 win on the road at Groningen.
After a goalless first half, the Amsterdam club took the lead when Anwar El Ghazi fired in from close range.
The visitors doubled their lead ten minutes later when Lasse Schone converted a cool penalty after Amin Younes had been brought down in the area.
Danny Hoesen scored an injury-time free-kick to set up a nervy finish but it proved not to be enough as Ajax held on to take all three points.
Meanwhile, Excelsior's relegation worries continued with a 4-2 home defeat to Den Haag.
Tom van Weert scored twice to hand Alfons Groenendijk's side a 2-1 lead heading into the game's closing stages.
However, late goals from Dennis van den Heijden and Mike Havenaar turned the match on its head and condemned the hosts to their eleventh successive game without a victory.
