PSV Eindhoven conceded a last-gasp equaliser as FC Groningen fought back to draw 3-3 in the Eredivisie on Wednesday night.
Leaders PSV, beaten at Ajax last weekend, led 3-1 through two goals from Marco van Ginkel - the second a penalty - and a Bart Ramselaar effort.
But the on-loan Chelsea midfielder handled in his own area, Lars Veldwijk converted from the spot and then Mike te Wierik scored in the fifth minute of stoppage-time for a share of the points.
Fifth-placed FC Utrecht won 1-0 at VVV-Venlo through Gyrano Kerk's first-half goal.
Feyenoord again dropped points, with a 1-1 draw at home to Heerenveen seeing them fall to sixth.
Steven Berghuis gave Feyenoord the lead four minutes before half-time but Henk Veerman equalised two minutes later and deadlock remained in the second half.
Vitesse and Willem II drew 2-2 in Arnhem.
Willem II twice led through goals from Bartholomew Ogbeche and Ben Rienstra but Bryan Linssen rescued a draw for Vitesse two minutes from time. Tim Matavz had made it 1-1 in the first half.
Lex Immers scored twice as ADO Den Haag beat Roda JC 3-2.
Immers twice levelled after goals from Dani Schahin and Simon Gustafson gave Roda the lead, before Erik Falkenburg netted the decisive strike.
Henk Dijkhuizen was sent off for two bookable offences in stoppage-time.
