Eredivisie leaders PSV Eindhoven suffered a shock 5-0 defeat to struggling Willem II.

Ten points clear and having lost just twice in the league all season prior to this weekend, PSV certainly would not have expected their trip to Tilburg to end in their biggest Eredivisie defeat since 1964.

Ben Rienstra opened the scoring in the 21st minute and PSV's hopes of a comeback were dented when Francisco Soler added a second in the 59th minute.

If Willem II were pinching themselves, things were about to get a lot more surreal. Soler converted a 70th-minute penalty and Rienstra then added his second to make it 4-0.

PSV's misery was complete when Derrick Luckassen conceded a 90th-minute penalty and was shown a second yellow card, with Soler completing his hat-trick.

ADO Den Haag's European hopes were dented by a 2-0 home defeat against NAC Breda.

All the action came in the first half, with Mounir El Allouchi netting an 18th-minute opener before Wilfried Kanon saw red for the hosts. Thierry Ambrose added NAC's second from the penalty spot.
