Former England skipper has no plans to resign

Bryan Robson has refused to step down as Thailand manager, despite a poor run of results. The former England captain has been at the helm of the national side since September 2009, when he replaced Peter Reid in the role. Thailand's recent results and their failure to qualify for the Asia Cup for the first time in 23 years have left fans calling for Robson's resignation, but the 53-year-old insists he is staying put. He said in The Sun: "I'm quite disappointed, I want to win and it's results that matter. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm coach here full-time. "People say I keep going back to England or to Singapore to do TV work but I've not left Thailand for six months other than for matches and last season I attended 72 local games."
