Ryan Christie has revealed his gruesome injury after his sickening clash of heads with Aberdeen's Dominic Ball during Celtic's Scottish Cup semi-final win on Sunday.
Ball was given a second yellow card after his challenge with Christie, who suffered a suspected broken eye socket in the collision.
The Celtic midfielder was placed in a neck brace and carried off on a stretcher after a five-minute hold-up.
He has now taken to Instagram, joking: "Rumour has it we won 3-0. Thank you so much to everyone for all the amazing messages and support."
The score was 0-0 when Christie was substituted, but the Hoops went on to win 3-0 and secure a place in the final against Hearts.
