Coundoul is available on a free transfer after seeing out his contract at Major League Soccer side New York Red Bulls. The flamboyant goalkeeper has spent the last six years in America with Colorado Rapids and New York Red Bulls and he is keen to try his luck in England. During his time in America, Coundoul also won a humanitarian award for the past three years for his community and charitable work. The 29-year-old is a member of the Senegal squad for this month's African Cup of Nations and he will be hoping to put himself in the shop window for interested clubs.
