Celtic captain Scott Brown has been nominated for PFA Scotland Player of the Year, nine years after last winning the award.
His team-mate James Forrest is also on the shortlist, along with Kilmarnock striker Kris Boyd and Hibernian's John McGinn.
Brown, who can lift the Scottish Premiership trophy on Sunday if Celtic win at home against rivals Rangers, has missed just four league matches this season.
Boyd, 34, is the league's top scorer with 16 goals in 30 appearances, recently earning him a contract extension at Kilmarnock until 2019.
Forrest, winner of the Young Player of the Year award for the 2011-12 season, has scored seven goals and provided six assists in the league.
McGinn has been a mainstay in the Hibs midfield as they have enjoyed a relatively successful return to the Premiership after three seasons away.
Celtic's Kieran Tierney could win the Young Player of the Year award for the third year in a row. He is joined by Rangers' Alfredo Morelos, Aberdeen defender Scott McKenna and St Mirren's Lewis Morgan on the shortlist.
Celtic dominated the awards ceremony last year, with Scott Sinclair picking up the Player of the Year prize, while striker Moussa Dembele (Goal of the Season), Brendan Rodgers (Manager of the Season) and Tierney (Young Player of the Year) completed a clean sweep.
