Germany take on Italy while Czech Republic face Denmark in the U21 European Championship, live on Sky Sports.

Group C leaders Germany will finish top of the pile and qualify for the semi finals if they avoid defeat to Italy, who could yet usurp the young Die Mannschaft with a victory based on head-to-head results.

England U21s could face a semi-final against Germany at the European Championship, but will not know until Saturday

Czech Republic can still claim the best runner-up place in the final four if they beat Denmark in the other game, which completes the group stage ahead of the knockout rounds.

Italy must beat Germany to have any chance of qualification to the final four of the tournament, with both sides representing possible opposition for England in the semi-finals.

England will play the winners of Group C if Slovakia (of Group A) maintain their current ranking as the best runner-up from the group stage.

Germany have looked stern opposition so far though, yet to concede a goal in the competition and with Schalke's Max Meyer pulling the strings from midfield.

Goals from Davie Selke, Marc-Oliver Kemp and Nadiem Amiri sealed a comfortable 3-0 win over Denmark, with Germany yet to alter their impressive starting XI.

Italy, meanwhile, were surprised by a tough Czech Republic side last time out, though Sassuolo midfielder Lorenzo Pellegrini's form on the right-hand side could yet cause problems for Germany.

Denmark will be playing for pride after defeats against Italy and Germany in their opening games, but will face a Czech Republic side still hopeful of a possible semi-final place.
