Russian President Vladimir Putin plays football with FIFA boss Gianni Infantino in the Kremlin to mark 100 days until the start of the World Cup.

President Vladimir Putin enjoyed a kickaround with FIFA boss Gianni Infantino in the Kremlin on Tuesday as Russia marked 100 days before the start of the World Cup.

The footage, released by football's world governing body on Twitter, also featured the likes of Diego Maradona and Ronaldo displaying tricks.

The video shows Putin heading the ball back to Infantino after a heavily edited kickabout set to Rimsky-Korsakov's Flight of the Bumblebee.

"Some people just can't wait for the greatest show on earth," FIFA said in the tweet.

Others playing around with the official World Cup ball included Wayne Rooney and Peter Schmeichel.

Numerous Russian cities are planning events to commemorate 100 days before the start of the World Cup, which begins on June 14, with Moscow set to stage an open air concert.
