BAKK TO THE OLD HOUSE?

Rosenborg have agreed a fee with Celtic for former striker Harald Brattbakk and the striker will mull over a move to the Norwegian giants over the Christmas period.

The 29-year-old Norway international, who moved to Celtic from RBK for £2 million in 1997, seemed set for a return there in November for £1 million but the move fell through when it was discovered Brattbakk would be ineligible for the Champions League as he represented Celtic in the Uefa Cup.

Brattbakk has had a contract offer from Rosenborg but says he will have to decide whether the move is right from a financial and footballing perspective.

"I want to play football, and I will not get to do that at Celtic," the striker admitted.

"It has to feel right if I`m going to switch clubs now, and I also have to think about securing a future after football."
