Gerrard considering Everton exit

EVERTON goalkeeper Paul Gerrard has admitted that he could leave the club in search of regular first-team action.

The 30-year-old looks to be behind Richard Wright as David Moyes's first choice keeper at Goodison Park, and may consider moving.

A loan switch to Ipswich Town had to be cut short after a knee injury, but as he gets back to fitness Gerrard is not looking forward to warming the bench.

"To be truthful, I think Richard is the automatic choice, so maybe it's the time to start looking elsewhere, but we'll see what happens," Gerrard told the club's website.

"I've got another year left on my contract after this season. All I can do is train hard and see what happens."
