Wolves sign Aussie

WOLVERHAMPTON WANDERERS have signed Australian goalkeeper Adam Federici on a non-contract basis until the end of the season.

The teenager has been training with the Molineux outfit for the past six weeks after undertaking trial spells at Bolton Wanderers and Sheffield Wednesday earlier in the campaign.

Federici has been plunged straight into the Wolves team for their reserve clash at Huddersfield Town on Wednesday evening after impressing manager Dave Jones (pictured).

The 18-year-old shot-stopper was delighted to ink a deal with the First Division promotion-chasers and is eager to play in The Premiership.

"I am pretty happy about it," beamed Federici to the club's official website. "Wolves are a great club and I'm very happy to be here.

"I love the atmosphere here and the people are very friendly. It really is a great place to be.

"I've always wanted to come over here and play and my dream would be to play in The Premier League one day."
