Duo chase Twente stopper

Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven are chasing Twente defender Daniel Majstorovic.

Feyenoord and PSV Eindhoven are chasing Twente's impressive defender Daniel Majstorovic.

The Swedish stopper has cut a dominant figure since joining Twente in August on a four-year contract from Malmo.

Majstorovic's displays have already caught the eye of the Eredivisie's bigger fish, with Feyenoord and PSV both reportedly keen.

The 27-year-old's agent Anders Carlsson has revealed the interest in the defender, although he did not expand on whether he will leave Twente in the January transfer window.

"One of the big clubs in Holland has contacted me regarding Majstorovic," Carlsson told Expressen. "It is a very serious interest.

"They wanted to know his contract duration at Twente and how he feels about a transfer.

"Daniel is in a good position after just half a year at Twente.

"The interest from the big clubs is, at the same time, proof that he has succeeded in the Dutch league."
