Robin keen on Swans

Martin Devaney has confirmed that he is keen on a switch to Swansea City.

The talented 24-year-old has rejected the opportunity to prolong his stay at Whaddon Road and with his contract having expired, is now looking to pastures new.

Yeovil, Burnley and Plymouth have all reportedly shown an interest in the past but it would appear the player is eager to move to Vetch Field.

''Hopefully I will speak to them again in the next couple of weeks,'' Devaney told the Evening Post.

''I have spoken to my agent and hopefully something will be sorted out.

''It is a club with a new ground and that is something to look forward to and with them playing in a new league it is exciting times at Swansea.

''And if something can be sorted out then it is a move that interests me.''
