Aussie to rejoin MK Dons

West Ham defender Trent McClenahan is poised for a second loan spell at MK Dons.

West Ham United defender Trent McClenahan is poised to secure a second loan spell at Milton Keynes Dons.

McClenahan spent the close of last season on loan with MK Dons and helped the club to retain their League One status.

The young Australian made eight appearances for Danny Wilson's side and is now due to head back to The National Hockey Stadium.

The 20-year-old has been allowed to build up his experience by Hammers boss Alan Pardew and will stay with MK Dons until the end of the year.

Pardew has also sanctioned a loan move for another Upton Park starlet, with Darren Blewitt joining Hereford United.

Blewitt undertook a loan spell with Southend United last term and the defender has now dropped down to the Conference to link up with Hereford for the rest of this year.
